Our RouteMasters
RML2699
RML2699, the first of our two London Routemasters, was purchased straight from service in 2004 and was our first vintage bus. Originally purchased with a view to restore it and sell it on, Austin didn’t have the heart to let it go and so it stayed as part of the family. It’s been carefully restored to early 2000’s condition.
RML2472
The second Routemaster is RML2472, and has been restored to a more traditional livery, in keeping with the year it was built. No-one knows Routemasters like us (our sister company, Bus Doctor, even restores other people’s Routemasters for them), so we had the advantage of knowing exactly where to look to source original parts to maintain the character and integrity of this iconic bus.
